University of Gothenburg
The University of Gothenburg has approximately 39000 students and 5000 employees and is one of the major universities in Northern Europe. It comprises 9 faculties and more than 40 different departments and institutions. EADHE is coordinated by the Department of Social Work. At the Department of Social Work research within the field of disability studies includes a number of studies aimed to describe and analyse societal and living conditions of disabled people. A number of grant supported projects are engaged in studying social reforms within health care, treatment and rehabilitation relevant for physically and psychiatrically impaired people.
