Katja Wachler was born in 1985. Since 2009 she has been a scholarship student, publicly sponsored by the Heinrich Böll Foundation. In 2010 she earned the Bachelor of Arts teaching degree in German Philology and Mathematics from the University of Leipzig. Since 2010 she has worked as student research assistant at several institutes at the University of Leipzig. Since February 2012 she has been student research assistant at the Chair of School Pedagogy/School Development Research at the Faculty of Education at the University of Leipzig. Now she continues her teacher training in primary education at Master’s level. Katja is local research assistant for EADHE project.
