Luís Barata has a degree in Law. For more than 13 years he has been working at the Office for the Support of Disabled and Special Needs Students at the University of Coimbra. His main activities are related with the production of didactic and pedagogical material in alternative formats, such as braille for example. In association with several national higher education institutions, he develops activities concerning the update of an online digital repository for blind students. He is also responsible for the promotion of training sessions concerning the use and potential of ICT for blind and low vision students attending the UC. In the context of the EADHE project, Luis works as local researcher.
