Student's areas involved: Attending lessons
Studying
Having an exam and practical course/internship
Description of the need:

According to university staff students with impairments need adaptation of examination modalities fit to their individual needs and thus need individual solutions. One goal to enable SWI to study more undisturbed could be to design alternative study requirements related to eligibility for student financial aid and overall study regularities. Even though there is a willingness to find individual solutions, there also is fear of being held responsible by e.g. creating a persuasive precedent. Also information on how to deal with SWIs will most likely not be given by any written statement (mail, letter) in inter-staff-communication but more often orally, also indicating dread of liability.
