Name of the need: | mixed teaching methods |
State of the need: | Partially fulfilled by internal services |
Student's areas involved: | Attending lessons Studying Having an exam and practical course/internship Dealing with professor and administrative staff |
Description of the need: |
During the interviews and survey we saw both staff and all students asked for teaching methods good for all. Some speak of blended learning as a solution, others of Universal design for learning. The need behind is that some students can not follow classes when there is only a person speaking or have to (re)watch a recording at home, others can not take notes and need slides, others need oral explanation when something is only visually presented, other need a digital document instead of a classic manuscript on paper,... some ask for different kinds of evaluation to proof they master the transferred knowledge. And there is also the need from personel to get some help to work out their classes in a blended way.
