The idea is to add a Qr code to signs within the University environment. Qr codes are easily generated by open source software, free software and online tools, and may improve the awareness about the surrounding space of students having visual impairments and dislexia. |

Use a qr (quick response) code generator, there are different open source and free software running on any operative system, to create a code containing all the information. Students may use their smartphone with a text speech software to know the content of the signs. You may use it for:
Limitations
Denso Wave owns the patent rights on QR codes, but has chosen not to exercise them, so the use of QR codes is free of any license. The QR code is clearly defined and published as an ISO standard. |
