Description of the tool:

Although the support service changed overtime in organisation and name, the service has only been consolidated. It helps students beginning in making up their mind about chosing which courses to take till graduating.

The service is mostly contacted by the student him or herself, but sometimes by parents. They gained expertise during the years by guiding students and getting to know them better.

But they also gained expertise in how giving advice to teaching staff and colleagues and making them aware of the person of the student behind the question for reasonable accomodations.

They have also a close contact with editors about course material and software developpers to make study material more accessible for all students. They are also available to give policy advise based on their expertise, but would like it if their experiences were more valued.

- be aware about resistance and let the service the opportunity to grow gaining more knowledge and becoming more known and trusted for the good advice.
