Barbara Drinck earned her master’s degree in pedagogy in 1983 and her PhD in Philosophy at the University of Bonn in 1988. In 1994, she completed her second master’s degree in Psychology, also at Bonn University. In 2006, she moved to the University of Leipzig and was appointed the professorship of School Pedagogy and School Development Research at the Faculty of Pedagogy. Since 2007, she has also been vice dean of the Faculty of Pedagogy. Her main research areas are gender studies in educational contexts, school development research, educational research and psychology and education. Barbara is the local coordinator of the EADHE project.
