The Service for Disabled and Dyslexic Students

The Service for Disabled and Dyslexic Students at Bologna University was founded in 2001 under the coordination of Prof. Andrea Canevaro. Since 2005 it has been integrated with the Dyslexic Students Service, in order to provide specific support to students with learning disabilities. It is its mission to promote and facilitate special needs students' full and autonomous enjoyment of their academic experience, as one of their projects in life.

In average, it supports nearly five hundred students a year.

It offers a range of strategies, actions and tools, including a selection of major assistive devices for learning: the inspiring approach is a student-centred one, meaning that the students are always in charge of their lives (not only academically) and they can choose and coordinate the available support according to their needs and goals.

The Service for Disabled and Dyslexic Students at Bologna University is the applicant partner. It coordinates the EADHE project.
